The Mobile Ticketing solution of SafePay comprises various mobile front-end applications, as well as the management back office architecture and multiple acceptance devices.
Customers can select the tickets of their choice either on a website or in a mobile application. Using mobile bank card payment (iCheque) tickets are paid for and are delivered over the air to the mobile handset. The phone is then used to present the tickets to a mobile or stationary validator showing a QR code, or using the NFC antenna of the device.
The management back office module can either store the tickets in its own database, or can receive them on-line from the legacy system. The module can be configured in respect of what level of security is required for the ticket, whether it should be stored in the mobile application, or in a secure element. The back office also performs the ticket delivery to the mobile phone, as well as their validation.
